Born Sasvrai Farkasfalvi Tothfalusi Toth Endre Anral Mihaly inside Makó, Hungary, (then Austria-Hungary), André De Toth (May 15 1912 - October 27 2002) was a prolific director who mostly worked in the old Hollywood studio stystem. His virtually all notable film was a 1953 horror film House of Wax starring Vincent Price. De Toth filmed that film inside Three-D, which was ironic because he was missing his left eye and bore an eye patch.

He got Xix kids from either heptad marriages, virtually all notably to actress Veronica Lake with whom he had tercet toddlers.
